The Mountaineer weekly newspaper is looking for the right person to fill the position of sports reporter/photographer. Commitment to excellent coverage of local sports is needed. An aptitude for news writing is also required for other assignments.

Rocky Mountain House is ideally situated about 45 minutes from Red Deer, and two hours from Calgary and Edmonton Respectively. The community is very active in sports and we serve a trading area of about 12,000 people.

Qualifications
A certificate or diploma in journalism along with basic knowledge of digital photography.
Good knowledge of CP style is essential.
